OUR POLICIES

Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984, the Company has a legal obligation to make every reasonable effort to provide safe and healthy working conditions for its employees, and to ensure that safety is reviewed regularly.  Similarly it is the duty of every employees to exercise responsibility and to do everything possible to prevent injury to themselves and others by observing all safety regulartions/procedures and prompty report all accidents and potential dangers.

COMPANY POLICY

It is the policy of the Company to ensure, as far as is reasonably practical, the health, safety and welfare of all employees and the general public in as much as its operations may affect them:

The specific objectives of this policy are:

Establish an effective health and safety management system that strives towards the goal of zero harm to all our employees and stakeholders.

The progressive reduction of health and safety hazards by identification and removal of those which exist and by forward planning, prevent any future hazard arising.

The acceptance by all personnel of health and safety as a major element of their overall responsibilities and to support this my training at all levels within the organisation.

Joe Dwyer, Managing Director, has overall responsibility for the implementation, achievement and monitoring of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.  In particular he will be responsible for:

Promoting awareness throughout the Company

Ensuring the auditing of accidents, fire prevention procedures and other safety measures for the Company are conducted in a timely and effective manner.

Ensuring that safety rules and regulations are published to all employees.

Continuously develop and improve the effectiveness of our Safety Management System.

All employees have a duty to:

Take responsible care for their acts or omissions

Observe the rules and regulations that have been devised to ensure a safe working environment.

Comply with the company policy, procedure and relevant statutory requirements

Support the continuous improvement of standards of operation.

Management seeks co-operation from all employees in realising our health and safety objectives and creating a safe work environment.  It is the responsibility of all employees to maintain workplace health and safety.
